Shopping and Eating

East Midlands Airport is home to a surprisingly good selection of eating and shopping outlets including international brand chains and a duty-free shop.

Food and refreshments : a selection of cafés and restaurants are on offer in the Food Hall on the first floor, serving meals, snacks and drinks. Here you can find Burger King and Upper Crust Baguettes outlets. The Meden Food Village serves up refreshments in the International Departures lounge. There is also a traditional British pub and a number of other bars.

Shopping: a good number of retail outlets cater to shoppers and include a pharmacy, bookshop and clothing and music shops, in addition to cosmetics, jewellery and toys. There is even a convenience store in the Arrivals Hall which sells essential food and household products. A travel centre is located in the link between the Departures building and the main terminal.
