Parking and travelling
Birmingham International Airport also provides excellent public transport services to and from the airport, with direct rail access to the city as well as buses and taxis.
Rail : a free Air-Rail Link runs every 2 minutes from both terminals to nearby Birmingham International Station. There are direct connections from the airport to many UK cities provided by Virgin and Central trains. Trains also run regularly to Birmingham New Street Station in central Birmingham.
Bus : the Bus and Coach Terminus is located outside Terminal 2, where local buses serve several routes. The main services are routes 900 and 966, which run from morning to night to Birmingham Central and a number of other destinations. National Express coaches also serve several towns and destinations farther afield.
Car : Birmingham International Airport is situated not far to the southeast of Birmingham city centre, and the A45 Coventry road runs right past the airport. Two major motorways also provide convenient access as well as the newly opened M6 toll road.
Parking : parking options at Birmingham International Airport include a short-term car park for drop offs and pick ups, a multi-storey car park for short and long-term parking, a dedicated long-stay outdoor car park and valet parking.
