Newcastle airport has a high standard of facilities on offer, as you would expect from an International airport, from business lounges to a prayer room. Again you will be able to pre book these facilities her on line soon. In addition we will be expanding the general information on each facility.

Business facilities
Newcastle airport offers you two executive lounges to choose from, offering the business traveler what they need and expect, facilities including telephone, fax, internet and a high quality of refreshments.

The Cheviot executive lounge, is open to all travelers over the age of 12, the following card holders can gain free entry: KLM Platinum & Gold Elite (on KLM flights only), Club 2000 Air France, Lufthansa Frequent Flyer , Gold & Silver Star Alliance, Sabena Platinum & Gold Cards

Internet access
Today, having internet access where ever you are is vital, maybe not so much for people going on holiday to escape the big rat race. Being able to connect to the internet via WiFi from selected mobile phones (Sony Ericsson P990), PDA’s and laptop computer. This service is available in the new departure lounge over looking the runways.
I am sure there are internet terminals dotted around for those who are no carrying a device, I will have this information up as soon as possible.

Money Exchange
Travelex Bureau de Change has three outlets located around the airport for the exchange of currency, I would recommend the Post Office for currency exchange as the commission rates at the airport are quite high, although this is a valuable service if everything is last minute.

Prayer room
This prayer room is open 24 hours a day as you would expect, this prayer room is open to all religions and is located on level two of the main building, to find out more you can call 0191 214 3416.
