Shopping and eating

This busy airport caters well to last-minute or convenience shopping (pre-security) with a suitable selection of duty-free (applicable to those travelling to destinations outside the EU) in the Departures area. Several options for food and drink are found in both the public and passenger areas.

Food and refreshments

Are provided by several cafés, restaurants and bars offering a wide selection including buffet-style restaurants and pre-packed sandwiches as well as hot and cold snacks. Two bars are found in the Departures area and there is an O’Neill’s pub in the main concourse.

Shopping

Adjacent to the Check-in area are public shops selling travel and gift items. Several popular high street stores are found here including WH Smith (books), Boots (pharmacy), World News, Tie Rack and HMV (music). Beyond security, there are some well-stocked duty-free shops with competitive prices on tobacco and alcohol, perfumes, chocolates and sweets, electronic gadgets and gifts.
